Our Beginning
How Dyaloni Foods Pvt Ltd Began
Dyaloni Foods Pvt Ltd was founded in Mumbai out of a very ordinary frustration. Every dessert on the menu asked you to choose between something that tasted good and something you would not regret an hour later. Nothing on the shelf did both honestly.
Frozen yogurt had already solved that problem elsewhere in the world. What it had never had in India was a brand willing to do it properly — cultured fresh instead of reconstituted from powder, sweetened for an Indian palate rather than an American one, and served at the temperature where it turns silky rather than icy.
That became YogurtYork. We spent our first months on nothing but the base — testing culture strains, milk sources, sugar levels and overrun until a spoonful tasted the way we had been describing it to each other. Only after that did we start thinking about counters, toppings and stores.
Today YogurtYork operates out of Mumbai as a young, deliberately careful brand. We are not in a hurry to be everywhere. We would rather be genuinely good in a handful of places first, and grow from customers who come back rather than from a map full of pins.

Dyaloni Foods Pvt Ltd is the company. YogurtYork is the brand you meet at the counter. Keeping the two clear matters to us, because they do different jobs.
Dyaloni Foods Pvt Ltd handles everything you never see — sourcing milk, culturing the base, running quality checks, managing the cold chain and building the standards each outlet has to hold. It is registered and operating out of Thane, Maharashtra.
YogurtYork is the part you taste. The flavour wall, the topping bar, the cups, the crew and the swirl are all YogurtYork, and every bit of our attention as a young company goes into making that experience worth repeating.
We are, honestly, still a startup. That is not a disclaimer — it is the reason we can obsess over a batch of Original Tart in a way a larger company would find uneconomical. As we grow into Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune and beyond, the intention is to keep that obsession intact rather than trade it for speed.

Dyaloni Foods Pvt Ltd was started in Mumbai with a background in food operations and a long-standing frustration with how Indian dessert menus force a choice between enjoyment and regret. The first year of the company went almost entirely into product — culture strains, milk sourcing, sugar levels and serving temperature — before a single counter was designed.
That product-first instinct still runs the business. YogurtYork grows only as fast as it can stay good, and every flavour on the wall has been tasted, argued over and reworked before it earns a lever.
